Practical AI, coding, and STEM education for our community

Real skills for a brighter future.

Satori Foundation is a New Jersey nonprofit bringing hands-on technology education to children, families, and adults — free, and open to everyone.

Who we are

Satori Foundation is a New Jersey nonprofit corporation with a simple purpose: make AI, technology, and modern education accessible to everyone. We build hands-on programs for children, adults, and families — and we bring them to the places people already gather, like libraries, schools, and community centers.

Bringing the Future Within Reach.

How we teach

Learn the idea. Build something. Share what you learned.

  1. 01

    Explore

    Discover what technology can do.

  2. 02

    Build

    Make something that works.

  3. 03

    Create

Add your own ideas to it.

  4. 04

    Innovate

Solve a problem that matters to you.

    Fly

Take it further than you thought you could.

Programs

What we’re building

We’re building a growing set of programs for children, families, and adults. Some are in development, and some are already being proposed with community partners.

Community AI Academy

In development

A three-track path from first steps with AI to building your own agents.

Sessions
90 minutes
Cost
Free
Experience
None for the first track.

Direct costs are covered through grants, sponsorships, and community partners.

Planned program areas

Alongside the Academy, we’re planning programs across these areas. Each one carries its current status.

  • AI & Coding Classes

    In development
AI literacy, coding, prompt design, automation, and practical technology skills. What we’re working on
    • The Academy curriculum is the furthest along of anything we have written. The first track is drafted; the later two are outlines.
    • No host site is confirmed yet, so there is nothing to schedule.
    • Instructors have not been recruited, and we will not run a class without one.
    • The interest list is not open yet, so we can't yet tell how much demand there is.
  • Robotics & Hands-On STEM

    In development
Robotics, electronics, sensors, engineering challenges, and physical computing. What we’re working on
    • The kit list is written. Nothing has been purchased.
    • Cost per kit is the open question, and it is why this one is waiting on funding rather than on ideas.
    • Sessions need somewhere to store equipment between weeks, which most rooms don't offer.
    • Grant applications are on hold until the 501(c)(3) determination comes through.
  • Kids Technology Clubs

    In design
Recurring after-school or weekend clubs where students build at their own pace. What we’re working on
    • The format is still open: a recurring club, or a short fixed series.
    • It depends on a host partner who can offer the same room on the same day each week.
    • Volunteers to supervise have not been recruited.
    • No dates, because both of the above come first.
  • Adult AI & Technology Classes

    Being scoped
Practical sessions for parents, professionals, seniors, and small-business owners. What we’re working on
    • Parents, seniors, and small-business owners want different things, so this may need to split into separate sessions.
    • Session length and pace are the main undecided questions.
    • Part of the material can be reused from the Academy's first track, which saves work.
    • No venue conversations have started.

Who we serve

Built for the whole community

Children, adults, and families — and the institutions that bring us together.

Where we’re starting

A pilot with the Cliffside Park Free Public Library

One concrete proposal, described exactly as it stands today.

Pilot proposal

Library Pilot — Cliffside Park

Under review

Satori has proposed a small-group pilot of the AI Foundations track with the Cliffside Park Free Public Library. The proposal is currently under review. If approved, the pilot would serve a small group of students over eight weeks, ending with a project showcase for families.

Length
8 weeks
Sessions
90 minutes
Group size
about 12–20 students
Cost
Free
Experience
None.

Status: under review. The proposal has been submitted to the library and no decision has been made. No dates have been set, and the library is not yet a confirmed partner.

Community partners

Bring a technology program to your community

We handle the curriculum, the teaching, and the materials. You provide a room and a projector.

Satori brings

  • Curriculum and lesson design
  • Instruction
  • Materials and shared technology
  • Technical setup guidance
  • Family communication
  • Outcome reporting

You bring

  • A room to meet in
  • A display or projector
  • Wi-Fi
  • Help getting the word out
  • A local point of contact

Free to families

Some costs are genuinely unavoidable — AI platform usage, printing, materials. We cover those through grants, sponsorships, and community partners, so cost is never the reason a family can’t participate.

We’re a new organization. If you’d like to help fund this, we’d rather have a conversation than put up a button we can’t yet use properly.

Nothing is open for registration yet.

We’re building our first programs now. Join the interest list and you’ll hear from us as soon as something opens — that will be the first thing we announce.
